Judgment

Judgment is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective. The game is a legal thriller set in the Yakuza world of Kamurocho and follows private detective Takayuki Yagami as he investigates a serial murder case. It stars Japanese actor Takuya Kimura and employs a fighting system similar to that of Yakuza 0 where players can change into different styles, namely crane-style which is more focused on fighting groups and tiger-style which is more focused on fighting individuals. Additionally, the game features an investigation mode where the player must find traces of the criminal.

This game is rated PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for anyone below this age. This rating has been given due to depictions of gross violence towards human-like characters, depictions of sexual threat, use of sexual expletives, and moving images that encourage and teach the use of games of chance. Not suitable for persons under 18 years of age. This game contains infrequent depictions of gross violence towards human-like characters. The majority of this violence takes place during the hand to hand combat sections which can be found throughout the game. The player has the ability to interact with objects in the environment that trigger more violent finishing moves such as slamming a man’s head into a microwave and then turning it on, or attacking enemies with weapons such as a baseball bat. This game also contains infrequent depictions of sexual threat. The most pertinent scene is during an investigation where you as the detective must collect evidence that a woman is being sexually assaulted. You can use a drone to spy on the man, and whilst investigating you witness him grope the woman’s breast. After collecting evidence, you must enter the building to help her. This game also contains frequent use of sexual expletives. The word “fuck” and its derivatives are found throughout. This game also features images that encourage and/or teach games of chance. The player has the ability to partake in a multitude of gambling games such as poker, blackjack and mahjong. All these games feature a betting system and instructions on how to play the games.
